Thing 5
Google Reader would be a great tool to share a specific website or tool with your co teachers. This could help connect a friend or co teacher with a specific website that they might need or benefit from (this could include articles or pictures). This has been the case in the past when a specific grade level district wide needed access to specific info. This could also a great tool for a high school class to follow each other and post daily or weekly and not have to search for a specific person.
Thing 4 blogging
Blogging is a great way to communicate through a network of friends, classmates or associates. I recently completed my online masters degree through ASU. It was intense, but the great thing about the online program was the blogging that was done between the classmates. I had students in class with me weekly from many different states and we all became better acquainted before the online classes were over.
Thing 3 widgets
I finally figured this widget thing out. I chose to add a calendar. This is great information for myself and others who visit my blog.

Thing 2
Web 2.0? Technology continues to advance quickly. We can help engage our students (digital learners) by providing learning experiences that include technology. We can offer lessons and activities via the worldwide web. Students often find it easier to communicate via the internet/computer instead of face to face. Techno communication has also made correspondance with grade level teachers world wide possible. The communication does not stop there! As teachers we now communicate with parents and peers through the many different types of technology. So we all benefit from the communication tools via the internet.
